Coexisting Substance Use Mental Health Problems Introduction In this essay I am going to respond to the six questions provided in relation to the article, â€Å"Help-seeking for substance use, anxiety and affective disorders among young people: results from the 2007 Australian National Survey of Mental Health and Wellbeing† (Reavley N, Cvetkovski S, Jorm A, Lubman D, 2010) in comparison to a NZ clinical alcohol and other drug (AOD) cohort which the article is entitled â€Å"Coexisting psychiatric disorders in a New Zealand outpatient alcohol and other drug clinical population† (Adamson SJ, Todd FC, Sellman D, Huriwai T, Porter J, 2006) . When bringing it into the New Zealand context they report â€Å"39.5% of the general population will experience some form of mental health disorder in their lives with 50% of these people experiencing the first of those disorders by the age of 18.† It is noted that anxiety disorders are the highest prevalence at age 13 similarly the median age for onset for substance abuse is 18. The highest susceptibility for the onset of developing a mental illness occurs between the ages of 15-18. When thinking about the New Zealand AOD context Adamson et al. (2006) reports that 75% of the participants were diagnosed with a current co-existing mental disorder wi th 90% of the participants meeting the sample for a lifetime mental illness diagnosis. Furthermore when thinking about youth and AOD use co-existing with a mental health disorder, The Werry Centre (2013) report that 37.6% of youth have co-morbid substance use disorders. Seventeen percent of these people report to have anxiety. In summary in New Zealand it is reported that young people in both community and clinical populations have high rates of co-existing problems ranging from 15-63%. Comparing the Military Leaders of the Civil War Essay

When we compare the military leaders of both North and South during the Civil War, it is not hard to see what the differences are. One of the first things that stand out is the numerous number of Northern generals that led the â€Å"Army of the Potomac.† Whereas the Confederate generals, at least in the â€Å"Army of Northern Virginia† were much more stable in their position. Personalities, ambitions and emotions also played a big part in effective they were in the field, as well as their interactions with other officers. Each general that was appointed commander of the army in the east had his own plans when it came to defeating the Confederates. Beginning with McDowell, the first general to command a large army in the war, the task seemed†¦show more content†¦On the other hand had the Confederates been able to press their advantage after the Union lines broke, they might have made things difficult for Washington. Later in the war, with more experience they certainly would not have passed up that sort of opportunity, but as it was they were quite happy with the victory they had won. After the loss at Manassas, Lincoln looked for another leader to replace McDowell, and some consideration settled on General McClellan. McClellan was at his best when he was organizing armies, not leading them into battle. Lincoln wanted the army to take over eastern Tennessee for political reasons, and McClellan for fairly sound military reasons wanted the same thing. The task was given to General Buell; it did not matter to McClellan that the area was impossible to take from the north, not to mention holding it. The area was too far away from the supplies that Buell would have needed, and logistically completely impossible to supply. Buell presented another plan to McClellan that called for General Halleck to march out of Kentucky and Buell to capture Nashville. This would leave the Confederates in east Tennessee in an untenable position, and force them into a desperate battle, or a withdrawal from the area. Contrary to production of plans, business analyst crops requirements (Abbott, 2014). 2.There is a huge difference between business analyst and a system analyst. System analysts are those who have deep knowledge of technology, which means that they can go to the pinpoint where changes are required in a code whereas business analyst may not have that huge knowledge of code but he/she understands what work is the code supposed to do (Ott Longnecker, 2015). A business analyst understands the language of both IT and the stakeholders. He/she acts as a interface between management and IT (Ott Longnecker, 2015). 3.The business analyst is not for sure a leader on the project still his/her role may be most diverse and at times and most necessary for the success of the project. A good business analyst must be well with technological knowledge, which means that he/she should have a good hold of technology. Preparing a document of the business analysis can be very helpful in further development of activities of the organization. Business analysis indulges requirement analysis or requirement engineering, which deals with determining expectations of the user for a modified or new product (Banerjee, Carlin Gelfand, 2014). It focuses whether the changes made in any part of an organization helps in the development of the organization. Analysis can be of many forms such as architecture analysis, business process analysis, object oriented analysis, structured analysis and data warehouse analysis (Chazaln et al., 2015). Preparing a documentation of analysis can be very helpful on development of the organization in various aspects, as the organization needs to focus on the strategic plans and matters. Documentation of the analysis help s to resolve the strategic, architecture and IT related issues as business analysis consists all of it (Huang et al., 2016). Use case diagram is a list of activities or steps, which typically defines the interaction between a role and a system in order to achieve a goal (Huang et al., 2016). The actor in a use case diagram can be either a human or any external system. Analysis done through use case is efficient and useful as it is the basic characteristics of many projects and it provides framework for many project activities. It is used for data modeling of an organization. It describes the basic element, interactions in the organization and the classes, which needs to be programmed (Sadaf Azam, 2016). These can be easily drawn if proper analysis of data is provided as documentation. The data analysis is the key element in preparation of class diagrams. It gives a clear, effective and correct view of the organization which enormously vital for understanding the hierarchy of the organization. Activity diagrams, related to the program flow plans are used in illustration of activities (Shukla, Keast Ceglarek, 2014). An activity diagram illustrates activities individually and here, activity represents a business process and action represents an individual step within an activity (Czopik et al., 2014). They are used for describing the business process, which describes the way that the business functions. In an activity diagram, it is made clear whether the actors are able to perform business use cases independently or together.
